Nursery Nurse – Daventry

Monarch Education are an Education Recruitment Agency who specialise in placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in their ideal roles. Monarch Education are currently working alongside Primary and Secondary Schools and also Nurseries in the Daventry area to find a Nursery Nurse to start ASAP.

The candidate for this role will contribute to a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in your area, in conjunction with other staff along with supporting all staff and engage in a good staff team.

The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:

• Tend to the basic needs of children when required, such as toilet training, feeding and washing
• Plan and coordinate a range of rich learning opportunities that support the development of children’s numeracy and literacy skills
• Ensure the health, safety and welfare of children in line with our ‘keeping everyone safe’ policies and procedures
• Act as a support system to children and offer warm and friendly guidance, support and advice when needed
• Manage children’s behaviour and support them to effectively manage their own behaviours

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
