Nursery Practitioner – Tamworth, Staffordshire

Monarch Education are an Education Recruitment Agency who specialise in placing Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Nursery Practitioners etc. in their ideal roles. Monarch Education are currently working with a Nursery in the Tamworth area to find a Nursery Nurse to work on a full time basis – Monday to Friday ASAP ongoing.

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to work alongside colleagues and parents to promote a positive and engaging setting for all pupils and support them through their Early Stages of Development.

The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:

  • Have a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and assist the Nursery planning, preparation and delivery of the curriculum and evaluation of activities.
  • Confident in their behaviour management.
  • Promote high standards, progression, continuity and quality of learning.
  • Concerned with the general welfare of the children, including matters relating to personal hygiene and health.
  • Promote an environment of inclusion and acceptance for all children in his/her care and to act as key carer to a group of children, settling in children and working closely with families.
  • Observing children as individuals and in groups and monitor behaviour progress and possible developmental needs, utilising specialist knowledge and experience.

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
