Nursery Practitioner – Derby

Location: Derby (various locations available)
Daily rate: £100 – £118, depending on experience

Monarch Education is currently recruiting qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioners for one of our fantastic partner nurseries in Derby.

We have a range of opportunities available:

• Full-time and part-time, long-term roles (with potential for permanent placement)
• Regular work and shift patterns to suit you
• Flexible ad-hoc daily cover – work when it suits you

Essential requirements:

• A recognised qualification in Early Years or Childcare (applications without this will not be considered)
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Experience supporting children aged 0-5 years
• Confidence in planning and delivering engaging learning activities

Key responsibilities:

• Support children across all EYFS age groups with personal care, where required
• Work flexibly across all nursery rooms, including the baby room
• Work collaboratively with other Nursery Practitioners and management
• Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and communicate effectively with parents and management
• Promote social development during both structured learning and free play
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
• Deliver differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needs
