Nursery Practitioner

Are you looking for a full-time role within Early Years? We are currently working alongside a highly regarded Nursery in the Small Heath area of Birmingham to recruit a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to start ASAP. This role will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working across all age groups in the setting. You will need to hold a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare to be considered for this role.

Requirements of applicant:

• You must have at least a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum
• Experienced supporting children across all nursery age groups
• Confident providing personal care to children
• Calm and caring nature when adapting support methods to the needs of each child

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Tailor support methods to the individual needs of each child in your care
• Regularly update children’s diaries and feedback to parents on progress
• Provide personal care to children to ensure a high standard of personal hygiene
• Encourage the social development of all children during lesson and play times
• Plan learning activities to encourage the intellectual and social development of each child
• Ensure all children always feel safe and their welfare is always looked after
