Are you looking for a full-time role within Early Years? We are currently working alongside a highly regarded Nursery in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham to recruit a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to start in January 2026. This role will be 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working across all age groups in the setting. You will need to hold a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare to be considered for this role.

Requirements of applicant:

  • You must have at least a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum
  • Experienced supporting children across all nursery age groups
  • Confident providing personal care to children
  • Calm and caring nature when adapting support methods to the needs of each child

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Tailor support methods to the individual needs of each child in your care
  • Regularly update children’s diaries and feedback to parents on progress
  • Provide personal care to children to ensure a high standard of personal hygiene
  • Encourage the social development of all children during lesson and play times
  • Plan learning activities to encourage the intellectual and social development of each child
  • Ensure all children always feel safe and their welfare is always looked after
