If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Teacher to join a Good-rated nursery school in Coventry (CV2), starting in March 2025 and continuing until the end of the academic year.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with children, particularly in a nursery or early years setting.
  • A passion for working with young children and helping them develop.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both children and staff.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide engaging and interactive learning experiences for children aged 4+.
  • Follow and implement lesson plans to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Work closely with staff to support the children’s individual needs and development.
  • Encourage and nurture a love of learning and exploration.
