Nursery Teaching Assistant

We are looking to recruit an Early Years Teaching assistant to provide part-time support within a school in Cradley Heath. The school are looking to fill a temporary post starting in January from 12.30-3.30pm daily. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within either a nursery or school settings and available to work every afternoon until at least Easter. Knowledge of they Early Years Foundation Scheme would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate must have the following experience:

• Support students that need guidance in reaching learning targets.
• Can deliver basic phonics.
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum.
• Good grammar and spoken English.
• Provide learning interventions.
• Excellent at raising attainment.
• Able to encourage pupils to learn and build their confidence.

Qualification and Skills Level 3 qualification relating to Education / Child Care or degree.
