We are seeking a dynamic and experienced School Office Manager to join a thriving school in Central Birmingham. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school, providing exceptional administrative support, and fostering positive relationships with parents, staff, and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the day-to-day running of the school office, overseeing administrative tasks, and ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor administrative staff, providing guidance and support to optimise performance.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement effective administrative policies and procedures to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Parent and Staff Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, students, and staff, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Financial Management: Assist with financial management, including budgeting, purchasing, and invoicing.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate and organize school events and meetings as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all administrative activities.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in school office management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to providing exceptional administrative support.
