Pastoral Manager, Oldham Primary School (OL8)

Monarch Education are recruiting on behalf of a client school based in the Coppice area of Oldham (OL8) for a Pastoral Manager. This full-time role will begin on Monday 15th April and will continue for the remainder of the academic year and potentially beyond for the right candidate. Duties include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils from EYFS to KS2
  • Pastoral, SEN and behaviour support
  • Conducting lunchtime activities
  • Preparing KS2 pupils for secondary school
  • Maintaining the safeguarding of all pupils
  • Liaising with parents

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Have experience supporting children with SEN/SEMH needs
  • Be able to effectively manage challenging behaviour
  • Have a kind, caring and supportive nature
  • Have recent experience within a school or childcare setting
  • Be committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young children
  • Be confident in liaising with parents, staff and the wider school community
  • A Level 3 TA qualification is desirable but not essential
