Supply PE Teacher | Bristol
Location: Bristol
Contract: Full-Time Supply (Monday-Friday)
Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm
Salary: £154.05 – £232.8 per day (DOE)

Role Overview
We are recruiting Supply PE Teachers to support secondary schools across Bristol. You will deliver engaging PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, following lesson plans provided by the department and maintaining a positive, active learning environment.
This role is ideal for qualified PE teachers looking for regular supply work and experience across local schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver PE lessons using pre-prepared planning
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and safe practice
- Support students’ physical development and wellbeing
- Adhere to safeguarding and health & safety procedures
Skills Required
- Strong behaviour and group management skills
- Confident, clear communication
- Ability to motivate and engage students in physical activity
- Adaptability across age groups and sporting activities
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience teaching PE to secondary-aged students (KS3/KS4)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in PE (essential)
- Knowledge of safeguarding and PE health & safety
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
