Monarch Education are an Education Recruitment Agency who specialise in placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in their ideal roles. Monarch Education are currently working alongside Secondary Schools in the Birmingham area to find a PE Teacher to start ASAP.

The candidate for this role will monitor pupils’ responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed while assisting with the planning of learning activities.

The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:

• Curriculum Planning: Designing and implementing a comprehensive physical education curriculum that aligns with educational standards and objectives.
• Instruction: Teaching students various sports, exercises, and activities that promote physical fitness, coordination, and teamwork.
• Assessment: Evaluating students’ progress and performance in physical education classes through tests, assignments, and observations.
• Safety: Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for students during physical activities, emphasizing proper techniques and injury prevention.
• Health Education: Educating students about the importance of nutrition, exercise, and overall well-being to foster healthy habits and lifestyles.

Hours of work: Full Time Salary: £140-£180 (varied depending on experience and qualifications)

School Location: Birmingham Accessibility: Easily accessible on Public Transport / Onsite Parking

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
