PPA HLTA – Part Time (3 Days per Week)

Location: Shirley, Solihull
Start Date: After Easter Half Term
Contract: Part-time, 3 days per week
Rate: £100 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)

Monarch Education, part of Affinity Workforce, is delighted to be supporting a warm, inclusive primary school in the Shirley area of Solihull to appoint an experienced PPA HLTA. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching across multiple year groups, covering teachers’ PPA time, and ensuring continuity of learning through well‑structured, engaging lessons.

This role is 3 days per week, starting after half term and continuing until the end of the academic year.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching across primary phases and delivering high‑quality lessons in a variety of subjects.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management, providing a calm, purposeful learning environment aligned with the school’s caring ethos.
• Be able to adapt teaching to meet the needs of different classes and year groups.
• Show creativity, flexibility, and enthusiasm in lesson planning and delivery.
• Work effectively with colleagues, contributing positively to the wider school community.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, maintaining high expectations and supporting their academic and personal development.
