Primary School Teaching Assistant

£60 - £100 per annum

Monarch Education are working very closely with lovely Primary School in Dudley, DY2. This OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school are hoping to recruit a full time EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant to work with children across both Reception/Year 1. The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for helping children in EYFS and Year 1 to access the curriculum and also support bridge attainment gaps, in groups of up to 6 children. The Teaching Assistant will be joining a super supportive and hard working team, where there are lots of opportunities for development.

The Teaching Assistant will be:
* Supporting the Classroom Teachers
* Monitoring and evaluation of pupil’s progress
* Assisting in the assessment of pupils
* Have a good understanding of the national curriculum
* Good behaviour management
* Must have EYFS experience
* Understanding the emotional and social needs of children

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
* Experience of supporting children in Reception/Year 1
* Work on your own initiative and part of a team
* Effective communicator
* Experience working with children (mainstream or SEND setting)
