Monarch Education is recruiting enthusiastic, creative, and skilled primary teachers for September 2024. You will need to be comfortable to teach in Foundation stage, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 and ideally with a good knowledge of the National curriculum. The successful candidate needs to be flexible, well organised, and highly motivated with a firm but fair approach to behaviour management.

We can offer you a significant amount of local work as we work with over 40 schools in the area and can completely work around you as supply teaching is flexible. Rate of pay is negotiable and dependent on experience; teacher pay scale and the range of duties undertaken. You will have a dedicated consultant which is myself, Adam, to help and support you. The ideal candidate will:

  • QTS or QTLS
  • Have the ability and knowledge to teach primary school pupils.
  • Be highly organised with excellent communication skills.
  • Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children from all needs and backgrounds.
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills.
  • Understand the expectations against the Teachers Standards

Main Responsibilities:

  • Teaching a variety of subjects to primary pupils
  • Planning lessons and activities for whole class learning and group learning.
  • Supporting SEND children with their work in a class setting
  • Managing difficult behaviours and implementing the school behaviour policy
  • Safeguarding vulnerable pupils
  • Possible supervising on lunch and break times
  • Supporting and managing teaching assistants within the classroom
  • Building relationships with staff and pupils
  • Collecting evidence of pupils work to support their assessments.
  • Feedback to the relevant member of staff about the pupil’s progress
  • To have pastoral responsibility for a group of pupils
  • Potentially lead in a subject area
  • Ensure a team approach to education with stakeholders such as parents and carers.
