Monarch Education is thrilled to be recruiting for a fantastic primary school in Didcot that requires a talented Primary Teacher to join their team from September 1st, 2025 until the Christmas holidays.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of a 4-day-a-week arrangement to offer you some flexibility. You will be responsible for teaching either a Year 4 or Year 5 class, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
- Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assessing pupil progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods as needed.
- Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support pupil development.
- Maintaining accurate records of pupil attendance, progress, and behaviour.
- Upholding the school’s values and contributing positively to the school community.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4 or Year 5 experience highly desirable).
- A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- A commitment to creating a nurturing and inspiring learning atmosphere.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt and be flexible to the needs of the school and its pupils.
