Contract: Full-time, until July 2025

Monarch Education are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Oldham (OL9) to recruit a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher for a full-time role starting in January 2025 and continuing for the remainder of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive environment.

About the Role:

You will be joining a vibrant and forward-thinking school community where staff are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils’ academic and personal development and contributing to the wider life of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
• Participate in school events, meetings and CPD opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply!
• Experience teaching in a primary setting
• Understanding of SEN and strategies to support diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A proactive, reflective and enthusiastic approach to teaching
