Primary Teacher

Primary Teacher (Key stage 1), Abingdon, Oxfordshire

We are actively recruiting an enthusiastic Primary Teacher with QTS based in Oxford.

A primary school in Abingdon are looking for a full time teacher for their year 2 class to start in February 2026. This is a long term placement and requires a teacher with UK recognised Qualified Teacher Status. You will be fully supported by the classroom assistant as well as your dedicated consultant at Monarch Education. The school also welcomes Early Career Teachers in need of completing their induction and here at Monarch we are able to support you along your journey.

Job responsibilities:

• Planning/Teaching all lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive environment and managing behaviour within the classroom
• Providing leadership for the classroom assistant to provide the best support for all pupils

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status recognised in the UK
• Full time availability
• Specialism or experience teaching primary children
