About the Role

Monarch Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher who is confident teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We are working with several welcoming and supportive primary schools in the Gloucester area who are looking for adaptable and enthusiastic teachers available for both short-term and long-term opportunities.

This role is ideal for an experienced practitioner or a strong Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is committed to creating engaging learning experiences and fostering positive outcomes for pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across KS1 and KS2
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Contribute to the wider school community when required

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching across KS1 and/or KS2
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A flexible, proactive, and reliable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
