Job Description

Monarch Education are working with a friendly and well-established primary school in Stroud to recruit an experienced Year 3 Teacher for a full-time role starting in September. This position will run for the full academic year and involves full classroom responsibility.

You will join a supportive Key Stage 2 team, benefit from shared planning, and receive half a day of PPA time per week.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Year 3 lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Take full responsibility for marking, assessment, and pupil progress
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues on shared planning
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Ability to manage full classroom responsibilities
  • This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
