Job Description
Monarch Education are working with a friendly and well-established primary school in Stroud to recruit an experienced Year 3 Teacher for a full-time role starting in September. This position will run for the full academic year and involves full classroom responsibility.
You will join a supportive Key Stage 2 team, benefit from shared planning, and receive half a day of PPA time per week.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Year 3 lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Take full responsibility for marking, assessment, and pupil progress
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues on shared planning
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to manage full classroom responsibilities
- This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
