Pay: In Line with M1-M6 Monarch Education

Daily Rate: £153.85 – £246.50 per day (PAYE or Umbrella payroll options available)

Dates: February 2024 – July 2024

Monarch Education are currently supporting a partner primary school based in Rochdale who are looking to recruit a Classroom Teacher with SENCO responsibilities starting from January 2024 to July 2024 with the possibility extending into the 24/25 academic year.

The school is located in Rochdale and is easily accessible by public transport from surrounding areas such as Bury, Oldham, North Manchester and Rossendale and via car the M62. The school vision is to “create a unique, dynamic and diverse environment where children are encouraged to achieve their true potential” and their shared values are to “Challenge, Aspire, Create & Achieve” throughout the school. This school is a larger than average one-form entry, “GOOD” primary which boasts an outstanding and supportive staffing team which will provide ongoing support and development to the incoming Educator.

The role will be a Full-Time, Long-Term position to support from Monday to Wednesday as the Full Classroom Teacher in Year 3 on a job share basis and on Thursday and Friday it will be support as the schools SENCO, the incoming educator will be fully supported by the Senior Leadership Team.

Requirements for this position:

  • (QTS) Qualified Teacher Status (Induction Completed)
  • Over 3 Years Experience in a full-time Teaching Position
  • Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Experience
  • Experience working as a SENCO in either Primary, Secondary or Nurseries
  • Knowledge of the latest government guidance on statements and Educational Healthcare Plans (EHCP)
  • Communication, coordination, and organisation are required skills
  • Experience of managing a small team is advantageous but not essential
