The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teaching and learning across the classroom.
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Support children’s academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and participation in learning.
  • Promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community.

What We’re Looking For

  • Have experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting.
  • Are caring, patient, and enthusiastic.
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Are passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
