Subject Lead:Music Teacher

Area: North Solihull

Salary: £153 – £240 p/day (pay varies depending on qualifications)

Start date: September 30th 2024

Monarch Education are looking for Music Teacher to work full time, this is with an immediate start. The ideal candidate would need to complete a full teaching role including planning and marking.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have Teaching experience and be a qualified teacher, or relevant references showing their experience as an unqualified teacher
  • Have a passion for Music
  • Be reliable and resilient
  • Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Have a desire to work with, inspire and support young adults
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills
  • Be able to plan lessons thoroughly or follow other plans created by Teachers
  • Lead a class of 20-30 pupils

Main Responsibilities:

  • Planning lessons and activities for whole class learning and group learning
  • Managing difficult behaviours
  • Taking the register
  • Supporting and managing teaching assistants within the classroom
  • Building relationships with staff and pupils
  • Collecting evidence of pupils work to support their assessments
  • Feedback to the relevant member of staff about the pupil’s progress
