Reception Teacher – Coventry

Monarch Education are working with a Primary School in the Coventry area, who are looking for a Reception Teacher who is passionate about teaching and developing pupils in the early stages of their education journey. ECT’s are welcome to apply.

We have worked with this school for many years and always receive great feedback from staff we place there. The school have a very supportive Senior Leadership Team and would be willing to support ECT’s through their induction.

The ideal candidate for this role will be confident in / hold the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status / ECT
  • Planning and resourcing continuous provision and child focused activities to support learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Creating fun lesson plans to keep the children excited and engaged in all lessons
  • Keeping and up to date of the children’s progress
  • Identifying each child’s ability and strengths and working alongside them, other members of staff and their parents accordingly
  • Creating a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere throughout the classroom
  • Recording pupils’ progress systematically and keep records to check work is understood and completed, monitor strengths and weaknesses, inform planning and recognise the level at which the pupil is achieving

Monarch Education are working closely with the Coventry based school to find the ideal effective candidate for this role.

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working in an Education setting.

Minimum Qualification Required: UK Teaching qualification or equivalent
