Monarch Education is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Reception Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Weston‑super‑Mare. This is a full‑time, long‑term role with an immediate start, offering an exciting opportunity to play a key role in early years learning and development.

As the newly appointed Reception Teacher, you will be fully supported by a collaborative Early Years team, with access to shared planning and ongoing professional development.

Daily rates are competitive and will reflect your experience and UK‑recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Creating a positive, stimulating learning environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Effectively managing classroom behaviour and fostering routines that help young learners feel safe and supported.
  • Providing clear direction and collaborative leadership for classroom support staff.
  • Contributing to team planning, assessments, and communication with parents and carers.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in the UK – essential.
  • Full-time availability for an immediate start.
  • Experience teaching within Early Years or a strong passion for EYFS teaching.
  • A nurturing, creative, and proactive approach to supporting young children.
