Hours: Full Time, Monday – Friday
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Contract: Until Christmas, with the potential to be extended

Monarch Education are working with a primary school in the B8, Washwood Heath area to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Reception Teacher for a full-time position starting ASAP.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Early Years team, delivering engaging and creative lessons that help pupils build strong foundations for their future learning. The role is initially until Christmas, with the possibility of continuing beyond this for the right candidate.

The successful teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS framework, creating a positive and nurturing classroom environment, and supporting children to achieve their developmental milestones.

Experience with Read Write Inc. (RWI) is essential, as the school is looking for a candidate who can confidently deliver phonics and support early reading development.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience teaching within Reception or EYFS
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
• Experience delivering Read Write Inc. (RWI)
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A nurturing, positive, and child-centred approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences
