Reception Teaching Assistant

Monarch Education are working with a Primary School in Kings heath that are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners at the very start of their educational journey in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for Reception pupils.
• Assist with planning and preparation of activities that promote early learning and development.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to children, including those with additional needs.
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and engaging classroom environment.
• Contribute to the assessment and recording of pupil progress.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with children in an Early Years setting.
• Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare or education.
• Is passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
