Religious Studies Supply Teacher – Gloucester

Location: Gloucester
Contract: Full-Time Supply (Monday-Friday)
Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm
Salary: £154.05 – £232.80 per day (DOE)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Religious Studies Supply Teacher to work across secondary schools in Gloucester.

This role is ideal for a qualified teacher or experienced secondary educator who is confident delivering Religious Studies at KS3 and KS4. You will be working in a variety of school settings, supporting students’ learning and promoting respectful, thoughtful discussion in the classroom.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and well-planned Religious Studies lessons
  • Adapt quickly to different schools and classroom environments
  • Maintain positive behaviour and uphold school expectations
  • Follow lesson plans and school policies where provided

Requirements:

  • QTS/QTLS (or strong UK secondary teaching experience)
  • Secure subject knowledge within Religious Studies
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
