Monarch Education have been given the opportunity to work in conjunction with an excellent secondary school located in the Rushden area who are seeking a to appoint a Science Teacher join their school on a full-time basis commencing in September 2024. This is a long-term post with the potential for it to lead to a permanent position.

This is a welcoming school with excellent facilities and the successful teacher will be joining a hardworking and passionate department. This post is open to NQT’s and more experienced teachers. The ideal teacher will be able to teach Biology to KS4, but this isn’t essential.

As a long-term Science teacher, you will be responsible for:
*Planning and delivering safe but exciting and informative lessons, both practical and written to motivate and inspire learning across the classroom.
*Accurately providing support and encouragement to aid student’s progression and educational path.
*Marking in accordance to school policies and provide feedback to students but also educating them on mistakes.
*Having a flexible work approach to suit the School’s needs.

To be successful in this role you must:
*Have a recognised teaching qualification (QTS) OR (QTLS)
*Have a Science specific qualification.
*Have previous experience of teaching key stage 3 & 4 students.
*Be able to establish constructive and positive relationships with your pupil’s.
*Be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work with a positive outlook in Education.
