Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
- Contribute to the development of a stimulating and rigorous science curriculum.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages inquiry, respect, and academic growth.
- Incorporate modern teaching strategies and digital tools to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and enrichment activities.
- Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and staff to build a strong learning community.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to refine teaching practice and subject expertise.
Skills and Qualifications
- A degree in Science or a related discipline.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level, ideally including GCSE and A-Level.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and current assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
- Competence in using educational technology to support teaching and learning.
