Monarch Education are currently supporting a forward-thinking secondary school in Small Heath who are seeking to appoint a motivated and passionate Science Teacher for a full-time position starting in September.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop strong subject knowledge while fostering curiosity, critical thinking and a passion for learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Teach engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge learners
  • Support students of all abilities to reach their full potential
  • Prepare pupils for assessments and GCSE examinations
  • Track progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and learning
  • Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
  • Create an inclusive and positive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive student outcomes

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Science curriculum
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
  • A proactive, professional and reliable approach
  • A genuine passion for education and student achievement
