Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm
Salary: £140.25 – £232.20 per day (DOE)

About the Role

As a Secondary QTS Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre‑planned lessons, manage the classroom effectively, and ensure students remain engaged and on task. Depending on your subject specialism, you may teach within your field or support across a range of curriculum areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 using pre‑prepared materials
  • Maintain strong behaviour management and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Provide clear explanations and support students with their work
  • Encourage participation, independence, and positive attitudes to learning
  • Follow all safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies
  • Build strong professional relationships with staff and students
  • Adapt confidently to different school routines and expectations

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Strong classroom presence and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage behaviour effectively and motivate learners
  • Flexibility to teach a range of subjects, if needed
  • Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to safeguarding
  • Suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs
