An exciting opportunity for a Maths Teacher to join a welcoming and popular secondary school located in the Sandwell area. We are seeking an outstanding Mathematics Teacher to join a team of experienced, creative and passionate teachers. In order for your students to flourish, you will provide them with a safe, supportive atmosphere while delivering high-quality, learner-focused teaching. The role is to teach in Key Stage 3 and 4, experience within this age group would be valuable although not essential. The school works hard to establish a welcoming, encouraging work atmosphere for its employees, which in turn means a secure, caring, and engaging learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will:

  • QTS or QTLS
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic
  • Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children from all needs and backgrounds
  • Have excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science
  • Have experience of improvement planning and of implementing a range of strategies to raise student achievement, with evidence of success
  • Be able to contribute to improving on the quality of learning and teaching and curriculum
  • Have a proven track record of excellent results at KS3 and 4
  • Have experience of high quality pupil tracking and feedback practices

  • Potentially lead in a subject area
  • Deliver subject enrichment activities for learners to consolidate and promote learning in the subject
