Secondary Supply Teacher – Wantage

£150 per day * Paid to Scale for Additional Responsibilities * Flexible Work (Full‑Time or Part‑Time)

Monarch Education is recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to support our wonderful partner schools across Wantage and the surrounding areas.

Whether you’re an experienced teacher seeking flexibility or an ECT looking to build experience across different settings, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Teach your specialist subject across KS3-KS4.
  • Provide general classroom cover where required.
  • Deliver engaging lessons using pre-prepared plans or your own creative approach.
  • Maintain a positive, productive classroom environment.
  • Support pupils’ learning and contribute to the wider school community.

This role is fully flexible – choose the days you want to work. Both full‑time and part‑time opportunities are available.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
  • Secondary classroom experience (placements also welcome)
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Flexibility, reliability and a passion for teaching
  • A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
