About the Role
As a supply teacher working through our agency, you’ll step into a range of secondary schools to deliver pre‑planned lessons and maintain a positive, well‑managed classroom environment in the absence of the class teacher. Each day brings something different – you might be covering Maths classes one day and stepping into Geography lessons the next. We provide continuous work for successful teachers, with repeat bookings at the same school to offer you familiarity, consistency, and the chance to build strong relationships. Flexibility is at the heart of this role, which is why you decide how often you work – full‑time, part‑time, or occasional days, we tailor your schedule around you.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑prepared lessons in line with school teaching plans
- Maintain a calm, positive, and engaging classroom environment
- Support students with their learning, understanding, and behaviour
- Always follow safeguarding procedures
- Adapt confidently to different school settings, subjects, and year groups
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong communication and classroom‑management skills suitable for covering Maths, Geography, and other subjects
- Confidence in leading classes independently and promoting positive behaviour
- A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to adapt to new environments quickly
- A strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and student development
- Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to build quick rapport with students
