SEMH TA/Teaching Assistant in a PRU

Where: B45

Salary: £95-£100 a day

Hours of work: Full Time 8:AM-3:30PM

Monday- Friday TERM TIME ONLY, until the end of the academic year with the potential to continue in September.

Seeking Spirited Teaching Assistants

Monarch is teaming up with schools across Birmingham and actively searching for dedicated and enthusiastic professionals to join a vibrant teaching team in various inclusive all-age special schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking environment committed to positively impacting the lives of young individuals. You will be working closely with students who may face challenges like permanent exclusion or have educational, health, and care plans due to behavioural, emotional, and/or social difficulties. Some students may also experience anxiety, depression, or school phobia.

In addition to traditional teaching methods, you will also immerse students in interactive learning experiences. This includes an outdoor education program, residential trips, and so much more. If you are enthusiastic about making a meaningful difference and enjoy dynamic teaching approaches, this opportunity could be perfect for you.

  • Enthusiastic in their approach to learning

The ideal candidate would require:

  • A knowledge of SEMH is a huge advantage
  • Experience working in a school or education-based setting preferred but not essential
