Monarch Education are currently working closely with a well established SEND school in Worcester. They require a Teacher who can in a secondary SEMH class. The job is to start ASAP and will be on a temporary Maternity leave basis, which could be for up to one year.

If you have experience teaching in SEND provisions and can adapt your teaching to a variety of students with SEMH needs, we need you!

The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status qualification or instructor/ functional skills level
  • Relevant classroom experience within last 2 years
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update service (or willing to get one through Monarch)
  • Experience in a SEND/PMLD/MSI/ASC Setting
  • Adapt to a range of learning styles based on the needs and preferences of the children
  • Caring and able to build a good rapport with staff and children alike
  • Flexibility to teach different age groups in one class

Your application will be subject to an enhanced child only DBS and two educational references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working in an Education Setting.
