Level 3 SEN TA

Manchester Primary School, Newton Heath (M40)

Monarch Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a client school based in the Newton Heath area of Manchester (M40) for a Level 3 TA to join their team on a full-time basis. This post will commence in February 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the academic year.

The successful applicant will be based in Key Stage 2 but may be expected to cover across the primary phase as required. Main responsibilities will include supporting children with complex needs on a 1:1 and small group basis and working closely with class teachers and the SENCO.

To be considered, applicants must be able to commit to the working hours of 8:15am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday each week. We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent
  • Can communicate effectively with parents and provide detailed feedback on their child’s progress
  • Has recent experience supporting primary aged children with a range of Special Educational Needs
  • Is a kind and caring individual with a nurturing approach
  • Can provide support on social and emotional matters
  • Has the ability to create strong working relationships and build trust with children
  • Can work under the direction of class teachers to prepare lesson resources and materials
