About You

We’re keen to hear from SEN Teachers who are:

Essential

  • QTS qualified (preferred), or an experienced unqualified teacher with strong SEN background
  • Confident working with pupils with complex needs, PMLD, physical disabilities or autism
  • Skilled at adapting learning to individual needs and creating highly personalised pathways
  • Creative, nurturing, and able to build trust with pupils who have diverse learning profiles
  • Confident in behaviour support, communication strategies and relationship building
  • Strong communicators who thrive as part of a supportive team

Desirable

  • Experience in a special school or alternative provision
  • Familiarity with sensory curricula, communication aids, and alternative learning approaches
  • Understanding of SEN legislation, safeguarding and person-centred practices
