Seeking Passionate SEN Teaching Assistants

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, looking for an opportunity to positively impact young lives? Monarch Education are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to support Primary and Secondary schools with their SEN support needs. You will help create an inclusive and nurturing environment for students with additional needs, and create a fun and dynamic work space for all pupils.

Roles are available all across the Lancashire and Preston areas

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support and assistance to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met effectively.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages the social and emotional growth of students.
• Assist with academic tasks, ensuring access to the curriculum and facilitating active engagement in learning.
• Encourage independence and self-confidence in students with SEN, helping them achieve their full potential.
• Monitor and track student’s progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant with children with SEN is highly preferred or within a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and a commitment to staying up to date with best practices.
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students and their families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with school staff and external professionals.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of different students and learning environments.
