Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Primary)

Area: M11 Openshaw

Salary: £95-£110 per day (varied depending on experience and qualifications)

Start date: September 2025

Monarch Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 Qualification to take on a role at Primary School in North Manchester (M11) The school is known for its community feel and supportive Senior Leadership Team. The Teaching Assistant will be supporting learners to make progress in all subjects. They must have experience working with children, ideally within a school setting – though this is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the classroom teacher
• Monitoring and evaluation of pupil progress
• Delivering small group interventions
• Behaviour management
• Working closely with other Teaching staff

Requirements of the candidate:

• Experience working with young people, ideally in a classroom setting
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• A strong team player, with excellent organisation and interpersonal skills, who is able to support and inspire children to learn
• Able to commute to the M11 area
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Experience in supporting pupils will additional needs (desirable but not essential)
