About the Role
We are working with a nurturing and well‑led SEN school in Nottingham who are seeking a caring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a child‑centred setting.
You’ll be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups, helping to create an environment where every learner feels valued, understood and supported.
The school provides excellent training, approachable leadership and a team who truly look out for one another.
The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant Will Be:
- Calm, consistent and compassionate
- Passionate about SEN and keen to develop
- Confident supporting behaviour and communication needs
- A strong team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- Reliable, dedicated and motivated to make a long‑term difference
Experience in SEN is welcome – but passion, patience and willingness to learn are just as important. Transferable backgrounds (youth work, care, psychology, sports coaching) are also valued.
