Monarch Education are working closely with a number of Primary schools in North Manchester who are looking to recruit an SEN teaching assistant to work with SEN pupils throughout KS1 & KS2. There are full time and part time roles available.

If you have supported learners with additional needs, specifically ASC then this could be an ideal opportunity for you.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Provide support and guidance to students
  • Day to day support for life skills
  • Prepare resources under teacher instruction
  • Effective record keeping in line with the EHCP
  • Build a positive relationship with the children ad parents and make a real difference!

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Experience and knowledge of supporting children with SEN and complex needs
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Experience in an SEN role
  • Strong de-escalation skills
