A school in Wolverhampton are looking to recruit a Teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a young child with global delay and autism. This is a very challenging role and does require someone with experience in this field.
The school are looking to fill this temporary post starting after half term initially until July, possibly longer. The ideal candidate will already hold an updated DBS, be available to work 8.30-3.30pm daily and confident with dealing with children who portray symptoms of Autism and challenging behaviour.
The ideal candidate must:
– Be available to start immediately.
– Hold a clear updated DBS.
– Have experience of working with challenging children.
– Be able to provide 2 relevant childcare references.
– Hold relevant childcare qualifications.
