Hours of work- 4 days a week Monday – Thursday

Monarch Education are working closely with SEND schools Primary schools in the Birmingham area who are currently looking for SEND Leader. The school caters to students who struggle with complex needs and physical disabilities. The school provides care for EYFS up until Secondary meaning that as a SEND Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing the support and care necessary to foster the student’s overall development.

Job Description:

  • Assessing the needs of students and using your knowledge and specialist skills to support students with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Taking an interest in and supporting the wellbeing of students both physically and mentally
  • Monitor progress daily, identify areas for improvement.
  • Building trusting relationships with students and prioritising their social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Plan and teach lessons with small groups of students, groups or individuals (if necessary)

Your application will be subject to an enhanced child only DBS and two educational references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working in an Education Setting.
