Monarch Education are working in partnership with a welcoming Primary School in Bournville, South Birmingham to recruit a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their specialist Resourcing Hub on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, or Support Worker who is passionate about helping children with additional needs achieve their full potential.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within the school’s Resourcing Hub
  • Providing 1:1 support and small group interventions
  • Working with pupils with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language and SEMH
  • Supporting learning, communication and emotional regulation
  • Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and wider school staff
  • Helping create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment

We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working with children in a Primary School setting
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Support Worker
  • A patient, nurturing and resilient approach
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
