Monarch Education are working with a 2 form entry school in Cradley Heath, West Midlands who are looking for an experienced SEND Support Assistant to join their School, working 1:1 with 2 children with Autism. You will be joining a forward thinking Primary School that has a strong focus on the local community and both its children and staff do their bit to give back. The school are able offer support and encouragement to all Teaching Assistants and Support Staff as well as their Teachers.

The school have twice the national average of children needing SEND Support- therefore the SEND Support Assistant is required for the duration of the child’s time in school. This SEND Support Assistant role is a great opportunity for someone wanting Long-Term, guaranteed work!

Staff are encouraged to work together and give support and training when required.

The SEND Support Assistant will have:

  • SEND Support Assistant / Teaching Assistance experience
  • Experience working with children in an Primary setting
  • Good knowledge of the UK curriculum
  • The ability to understand and work alongside EHCPs
