About the Role:

Monarch Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive school to recruit a passionate SEND Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

You will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of students, ensuring they thrive academically and socially in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND.
• Work closely with support staff and the SENCO to create individual education plans (IEPs).
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with SEND (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD).
• Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and behaviour management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
