Monarch Education are working with a primary school in the B20, Handsworth Wood area to recruit an experienced and dedicated SEND Teacher for a full-time, long-term position.

The successful candidate will work within the school’s specialist hub, supporting a group of 13 pupils ranging from Nursery to Year 5 with a variety of additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about SEND and confident in delivering highly personalised learning to pupils with a range of abilities.

The school has two experienced Teaching Assistants based within the hub who provide classroom support, including personal care where required. Planning is already in place, allowing the successful teacher to focus on delivering engaging lessons, building positive relationships, and supporting pupils to make progress both academically and socially.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience working with pupils with SEND
• Experience in a specialist provision or resource base is desirable
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs
• A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
