Seeking Spirited Teachers

Monarch is collaborating with schools across Birmingham, actively seeking passionate and proactive professionals to join a dynamic teaching team at a range of inclusive all-age special schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to be a part of a supportive forward-thinking team, committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals. You will be working closely with pupils with autism, often with speech, language, and communication difficulties. Frequently, individuals with autism may also have a profile of ADHD or additional disabilities, so a familiarity with such strategies would be beneficial.

In addition to traditional teaching methods, you will also immerse students in interactive learning experiences. The school has a very large site, including nature trails, forest areas, outdoor cycle tracks and so much more, therefore someone somewhat sporty or physically fit would be ideal.

The ideal candidate would require:

  • A knowledge of ASD is a huge advantage.
  • Qualified Teacher

The following skills would be advantageous:

  • Patient
  • Proactive and full of determination
  • Open to practical or sensory ways of learning
  • Willing to use creativity to explore self-expression.
  • Caring and attentive
  • Enthusiastic in their approach to learning
  • Somewhat outdoorsy or sport.

Benefits of working with Monarch Education:

  • You will be paid a competitive daily wage, based on your experience.
  • Dedicated consultant allocated to support you with any questions and concerns.
  • Support in writing CV’s and job applications.
  • £200 for any successful referral of Teachers and £100 for Teaching Assistants.
  • You will receive free, up to date safeguarding training.
  • Training workshops and CPD courses to provide professional development.
  • The option of working under a PAYE or Umbrella pay scheme.
