SEND Teaching Assistant – Cradley Heath

Monarch Education are currently working with a Primary School in the Cradley Heath area to find an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to start ASAP until the end of July 2024. This role will involve working in the school’s resource base with a Y2 child with Autism and a Y5 child with defiance disorder. If successful in this role then this could continue into the new academic year in September.

Requirements of applicant:

  • Ideally a minimum L3 qualification in SEND, Childcare or Education
  • Experienced in a range of behaviour management methods
  • A Minimum of 2 years experience supporting people with SEND
  • Strong individual who is confident adapting to different educational settings
  • Have good organisational and planning skills

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for supporting children in the SEND resource base of the school
  • Tailoring support methods and learning activities to the needs of both pupils
  • Report back to senior management and staff on the progress and achievements of pupils
  • Provide personal care where necessary
  • Keep up to date with any SEND curriculum changes that may occur throughout your time in this position

Salary: £83.33 – £110 per day (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
